BJP का 38वां स्थापना दिवस आज; PM मोदी ने पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं किया नमन

नई दिल्ली: भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के 38वें स्थापना दिवस के मौके पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं को नमन किया. कार्यकर्ताओं की तारीफ करते हुए उन्होंने अपने ट्वीट में कहा, 'देश को बेहतर और मजबूत करने की दिशा में समर्पित व भाजपा को बनाने के लिए सभी कार्यकर्ताओं के त्याग और उनकी वीरता को हम गौरव से याद करते हैं.'  इसके आगे उन्होंने ट्वीट में लिखा, 'भाजपा के लिए उनके कार्यकर्ता ही सबकुछ हैं. वे पार्टी की आत्मा और दिल हैं, जिनके पसीने की बदौलत पार्टी नई बुलंदियों पर पहुंची. यह सिर्फ उनकी कोशिशों की वजह से ही संभव हो सका कि हमें भारत की जनता की सेवा और उनकी उम्मीदों को पूरा करने का सम्मान मिला.'

बयान में कहा गया है कि मोदी इन पांच सीटों के हजारों पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं से बातचीत करेंगे. इसके अलावा वह जिला अध्यक्षों और उनकी टीमके सदस्यों से भी बात करेंगे और उनके सवालों के जवाब भी देंगे. बयान के अनुसार मोदी पार्टी नेताओं के विचारों को सुनेंगे और सरकार की कल्याण योजनाओं की जानकारियां साझा करेंगे. वह उनके सवालों के जवाब भी देंगे.

वहीं दूसरी ओर बीजेपी आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए अपने अभियान की शुरुआत शुक्रवार (6 अप्रैल) को पार्टी के 38वें स्थापना दिवस पर अपनी ताकत की झलक दिखाकर करेगी. पार्टी के एक शीर्ष पदाधिकारी ने बुधवार (4 अप्रैल) को इस बात की जानकारी दी. इस मौके पर बीजेपी अध्यक्ष अमित शाह, केंद्रीय नौवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी, महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, राज्य बीजेपी इकाई के अध्यक्ष रावसाहेब दानवे पाटील और अन्य शीर्ष पदाधिकारी मौजूद रहेंगे, जो पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं को संबोधित करेंगे.

दानवे पाटील ने कहा, "इस विशाल सम्मेलन में महाराष्ट्र, उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, कर्नाटक और तमिलनाडु के तीन लाख से ज्यादा कार्यकर्ता, जिसमें बूथ स्तर से लेकर संसद सदस्य, शामिल होंगे." उनसे यह पूछने पर कि क्या यह सम्मेलन अगले लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए अभियान की शुरुआत का सूचक है? उन्होंने कहा, "हां, आप ऐसा कह सकते हैं."

Sohail Mahmood to be Pakistan's new emissary to India

Islamabad: Career representative Sohail Mahmood will be Pakistan's new High Commissioner to India and is set to assume responsibility toward the finish of this current month, Foreign Office sources said.

Mahmood, who has served in Pakistani missions in Washington, New York, Ankara and Bangkok, is 55 years of age and holds a Masters degrees in History and International Relations.

He joined the Foreign Service in 1985 and is one of the senior most officers of the Pakistan Foreign Service. He is not known to have managed India in the Foreign Office prior.

Mahmood will assume responsibility when India-Pakistan ties are at a new low after the mutilation of two Indian troopers faulted for the Pakistan Army and capital punishment to India "spy" Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Basit, who had a turbulent residency in New Delhi, was designated Pakistan's agent to India in 2014.

India, Pakistan exchange fire in Jammu

Srinagar: The Indian and Pakistani Army on Wednesday traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch area of Jammu locale.

"The Pakistan Army started aimless terminating of little arms, automatics and mortars at 9.05 a.m. today (Wednesday) on the Indian Army posts," Defense Ministry representative Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta told IANS in Jammu.

"The Indian Army is retaliating unequivocally and viably."

The Pakistan Army has been focusing on Indian positions along the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch locale of Jammu area amid the most recent four days.
