MUMBAI: Giving in evidently to political weight, the BMC organization on Wednesday endorsed, infringing upon strategy, Rs 10 crore for repair of two private streets in Ghatkopar's Garodia Nagar complex, which falls in the ward of BJP's Parag Shah, the wealthiest corporator in Mumbai who had announced resources of Rs 690 crore at the season of the BMC races.
The column more than one of these streets was one reason behind the current suspension of S M Dwivedi, aide metropolitan magistrate (ward officer at N Ward), Ghatkopar.
Dwivedi purportedly controlled records to demonstrate this street as a `public street' on paper so it could be repaired by utilizing BMC reserves. He supposedly deceived the past urban boss in 2015 and took his endorsement to change the status of the street.
